I’ve been busy writing new things for quite a while now, but for a different audience. A little bit older, and the things I’ve been writing about are based in the real world.

It’s not the easiest thing for a writer to change genre and actually get published in it. You have to go back to the beginning and start again. So that’s what I’ve been doing.

But now, I’m happy to say, I have a book coming out. Two books in fact. Look out for THE SPYMASTER’S WIFE published in the UK in March 2027 and its sequel, A SAFE HOUSE the following year.

You won’t find these under Angie Sage (which is my real name) because Angie Sage will forever be associated with YA/children’s books. Which is a lovely thing and I am very pleased about. These two books are a bit of a one-off as they have involved me working with my lovely cousin. They take incidents from her amazing life, which I have woven into a novel. So these books will come out under a joint name, Liz Denchfield.

After that I do very much hope to be publishing some novels under my new writing name, Jo Tamsett. But more about that next year. I hope!
